What happens if I lose power?
The Stove-Stop smart valve will remain open or closed even if there is a loss of power. If the valve was open before a power loss then it will remain open during the power loss. If the valve was closed before a power loss it will remain closed during the power loss. When power is restored, the valve can be operated normally.
Does Stove-Stop require a subscription?
No, Stove-Stop does not require a subscription or any recurring payments to use.
Does Stove-Stop smart valve or mobile app collect or sell my data?
No, Stove-Stop respects your privacy and it does not monitor, collect, or share any of your data.
Can I operate Stove-Stop remotely (off-site)?
No, you must physically near your appliance to use Stove-Stop. Stove-Stop is not designed to facilitate unattended or remote operation of any gas appliance.
Do I have to use the Stove-Stop app?
No, Stove-Stop can be controlled from a low voltage wired (center off, momentary) switch connected to the Control Unit. See the installation guide for more details.
How do I allow other people control my appliance?
Simply have them download the mobile app and give them your wireless pin code.
